How to Submit a Case with Alliedstar

For information on submitting a ClearCorrect case with Alliedstar, refer to the following:


 

Pairing Alliedstar with the Doctor Portal

1. Log in to the Doctor Portal to access your account.

2.  Select 'My Account' from the upper right-hand dropdown menu.

3.  Click on the 'Pairing' section in the left-hand menu.

4.  From the scanner options, navigate to Pair Alliedstar Account, and then select 'Pair'.

5.  Enter your Alliedstar account information to complete the pairing.

Sending patient records from Alliedstar

1.  Find an existing patient or add a new patient.

2.  Complete patient information and details.

3.  Choose 'Orthodontic' as the scan type.

4.  Select the case type: 'Clear Aligner' or 'Retainer' based on the case.

5.  Begin the scanning process by completing scans for the upper arch, lower arch, bite scan, and refine scans.

6.  Select 'Finish' and confirm to upload the case to the cloud to access it in the Doctor Portal.

Uploading records to Doctor Portal

1.  Log in to the Doctor Portal to access your account.

2.  From the homepage, create a 'New Aligner Case' or 'Retainer Case'. Alternatively, select an existing case in the Manage Orders section (for Revisions or end-of-case retainers).

3.  Within the Records Uploader section, go to the 3D Model tab.

4.  From the 'Select Scan' dropdown menu, choose 'Alliedstar.'

5. Select 'Add File' to begin the upload.

7.  If not already paired, select 'Pair' and log in to Alliedstar with your account information.

8.  Select 'Alliedstar' upload option from the pop-up window.

9.  Choose the patient's name from the dropdown menu and upload scans for each section (upper, lower, and optional bite scans). We'll show the 20 most recent patient records sent from Alliedstar.

10.  Add photos, X-rays (optional), complete the treatment approach, and provide any additional information to submit the case.

 


 

Browsing for locally saved Alliedstar STL files

If your preferred workflow is to export the STL files to your local or cloud storage prior to uploading to Doctor Portal, please follow these steps:

1.  Log in to the Doctor Portal to access your account.

2.  From the homepage, create a 'New Aligner Case' or 'Retainer Case'. Alternatively, select an existing case in the Manage Orders section (for Revisions or end-of-case retainers).

3.  Within the Records Uploader section, go to the 3D Model tab.

4.  From the 'Select Scan' dropdown menu, choose 'Alliedstar.'

6.  Select 'Browse' to locate and upload files saved locally for each section (upper, lower, and optional bite scans).

7.  Add photos, X-rays (optional), complete the treatment approach, and provide any additional information to submit the case.
