What are ClearCorrect Aligners made of?
ClearCorrect aligners are made of our proprietary ClearQuartz™ tri-layer aligner material. ClearQuartz™ features an elastomeric layer between two resilient, low-porosity materials. The outer layers allow the aligner to be tough and stain resistant, while the inner layer allows the aligner to apply gentle, consistent, continuous force.
How are ClearCorrect aligners different from the competition?
ClearCorrect aligners are uniquely designed to deliver consistent continuous force. ClearCorrect aligners feature a flat trimline above the gingival margin; combined with our proprietary ClearQuartz™ tri-layer aligner material and customizable clinical features.
How effective is ClearQuartz™ aligner material compared to the competition?
ClearQuartz™ retains 10x more of its initial force* than many competitive devices and retains its shape throughout the wear time** of the aligner. It doesn’t sacrifice comfort, clarity, or resilience as it helps you achieve optimal results in a wide variety of cases.

What are the benefits of ClearCorrect's high trimline compared to a scalloped trimline?
With a smooth, unscalloped trimline that extends past the gingival margin, ClearCorrect aligners are more than 2.5x more retentive than scalloped aligners*, and are engineered to achieve more complex tooth movements, even while reducing the need for engagers.

What customizable clinical features are available with ClearCorrect aligners?
ClearCorrect allows you more ways to tailor your patient's treatment precisely to their needs with the following customizable clinical features:
- Engager sizes are now available in 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm. Decide what size and orientation are best for your case.
- With cutouts for elastics ClearCorrect offers you more control to perform more complex movements. Confidently treat teens, Class II, and Class III malocclusions.
Is ClearCorrect a system only for anterior teeth?
No, ClearCorrect is an advanced system of clear aligner therapy that uses the latest digital technologies, design and clinical approaches to treat various types of malocclusion, ranging from simple to advanced, including extraction and surgical cases depending on the knowledge and expertise of the doctor.
Where are ClearCorrect aligners made?
ClearCorrect aligners are manufactured in high tech centers in the US, Germany, Brazil, and China.
Do ClearCorrect aligners contain BPA or phthalates?
No. Our aligners are made without BPA or phthalates and have been extensively tested for biocompatibility.
Are ClearCorrect aligners safe for pregnant or nursing patients?
Our aligners are free from harmful chemicals and do not pose a significant risk to the patient's health. However, as the clinician, we leave the treatment decisions up to you.
What is the patient experience like with ClearCorrect aligners?
The ClearQuartz™ material’s patented tri-layer design improves comfort and clarity while maintaining durability for increased patient satisfaction.
ClearQuartz™ improves comfort by applying 1/3 less initial force**
ClearQuartz™ is nearly invisible
ClearQuartz™ is stain-resistant
**Data on file vs 0.030 single-layer material
What type of cases can be treated with ClearCorrect aligners?
The ClearCorrect aligner is engineered for predictability, comfort, and esthetics. It offers a unique combination of ClearQuartz™ tri-layer material, a high, flat trimline, and customizable clinical features to help you achieve your orthodontic goals in a wide variety of cases from simple to more advanced.
How much arch width expansion can ClearCorrect aligners provide?
This very much depends on the patient and what type of expansion has already been done (rapid vs. slow expansion and considering if the expansion has been maintained for any length of time). The amount of expansion depends on many patient related factors, such as the original buccal-lingual tip of the teeth, the amount of alveolar bone around the teeth, the gingival biotype, age of the patient, recession, type of crossbite (if any) and occlusion.
Generally, about 3-4mm of expansion measured at the canines is about the limit of what can be done with aligners. This is a generalization only and is dependent on the patient variables listed above, this amount may be more or less. Additionally, the extended trim line and aligner material allows more cross-arch stability than many competitive devices, and is able to retain expansion adequately.
Which classes of occlusion can be treated with ClearCorrect?
All classes of occlusion can potentially be improved with clear aligner therapy, although we can never guarantee a perfect outcome. You can determine whether clear aligner therapy is recommended for a patient by evaluating the overall treatment goal, the types of movements involved, and the condition of the existing dentition.
Are retainers or engager templates made out of ClearQuartz™?
No. Retainers and engager templates will be made from different single layer materials.
