How much do the treatment options cost?
Contact your ClearCorrect or Straumann representative to find out the pricing options for your region.
Why do I see UNLIMITED (Legacy) in some places on the Doctor Portal?
We have changed the name of the existing UNLIMITED treatment option to UNLIMITED (Legacy) to differentiate it from the newer UNLIMITED pricing option.
What is a legacy case?
A legacy case is any case treated with the Limited 6, Limited 12, and Unlimited (Legacy) treatment options.
Does the length of a case determine the treatment option?
No. You'll be able to make a selection from the available treatment options that allows you to meet yours and the patient's treatment goals.
Can I cap the price or duration of treatment?
Yes. When you submit your prescription, you can optionally ask us to restrict the treatment setup to a certain number of steps. Be aware that restricting the treatment duration may restrict or prevent some of your other prescribed goals. In case of conflict, we will prioritize restrictions on treatment length.
The limit you set on the case will apply to both arches at this time. For example, if you have more planned movements on the upper arch than the lower arch, the lower aligners will become passive while you are completing treatment on the upper.
How can I predict how much treatment will cost?
You'll see the exact number of planned steps and treatment cost when you review the treatment setup. The UNLIMITED pricing option is the most predictable: one fixed rate will cover your needs for the next five years. The cost of FLEX treatment can vary widely based on the length of treatment and the number of arches being treated. If this is a concern, you can set an upper limit when you submit the case. Under FLEX treatment, there may also be additional costs over time for revisions or retainers. The other treatment options: MINI, ONE, TWO, and THREE have specific amounts of aligners, revisions, and retainers included and recommendations for case types.
Do the pricing options include shipping?
Shipping can vary depending on where you are located and pricing in your region. Please contact your ClearCorrect or local Straumann representative for specific details for your area.
Will aligners ship in phases?
FLEX and MINI cases will ship all at once. All other treatment options will ship in phases (containing up to 12 steps), as determined by the wear schedule and treatment option that you chose.
Will I select a treatment option when I submit a case?
No, not at the time of submission. Any case can be treated as either FLEX or UNLIMITED, regardless of its length. You can compare the price of the options and select the one you prefer when you approve the treatment setup.
Will existing cases switch to the new pricing options?
Until a legacy case closes for the first time, additional orders for that case (such as revisions or retainers) will be handled under the case's existing pricing and policies. Once a legacy case closes, any additional orders placed for that patient will be subject to the new pricing and policies.
What happens to cases submitted before the terms and conditions and pricing options changed that haven't been approved yet?
If you approve a treatment setup after changes have gone into effect, you will be presented with the choice of the available treatment options in your area, under the new pricing and policies, even if those options were not available when you originally submitted the case.
I receive discounted pricing from my dental group—will I see these new pricing options?
Dental groups can decide whether or not to transition to the new pricing options before their current agreements expire. You can ask your group for details, or contact your ClearCorrect or local Straumann representative.
Can I re-open a closed legacy case to order revisions or retainers at the old price?
No. Once a legacy case closes, any additional orders placed for that patient will be subject to the new pricing and policies. As explained in the terms & conditions, an order is considered to be placed when a treatment setup is approved (or, if a treatment setup is not needed, when appliances are prescribed).
Do my coupons and vouchers still work?
We expect most existing coupons and vouchers to remain valid. Coupons and vouchers for specific case types may be converted to a coupon or voucher of equivalent value under the new pricing options. If you have any questions or issues, please call your sales rep.
Will you still offer volume discounts?
Yes. Contact your ClearCorrect or local Straumann representative for information on volume discounts available in your region.
FAQ about FLEX
- What are the differences between the treatment options?
- Does FLEX pricing include a set of retainers with each aligner order?
- How much will revisions cost under FLEX pricing?
- Is single-arch FLEX treatment cheaper than dual-arch FLEX treatment?
What are the differences between the treatment options?
There are six treatment options: FLEX MINI, ONE, TWO, THREE, and UNLIMITED. Availability of treatment options may be limited in some regions. Contact your ClearCorrect or local Straumann representative to find out what is available in your area.
FLEX is a treatment option where the patient pays per aligner and for setup.
MINI is a flat rate treatment option that covers up to 12 sets of aligners, including one revision.
ONE is a flat rate treatment option that covers up to 24 sets of aligners, including one revision and one set of retainers.
TWO is a flat rate treatment option that covers up to 48 sets of aligners, including two revisions and two sets of retainers.
THREE is a flat rate treatment option that covers up to 72 sets of aligners, including three revisions and three retainers.
UNLIMITED is a flat rate treatment option that covers as many aligners needed for five full years, including replacements, revisions, and retainers.
Does FLEX pricing include a set of retainers with each aligner order?
No. Retainers are sold separately at the standard rate for appliances, which includes shipping both ways. There is no treatment setup fee for retainers, even if they are based on new impressions.
How much will revisions cost under FLEX pricing?
Revisions are priced exactly the same as new treatment. You pay for one treatment setup and each new aligner that you need.
Is single-arch FLEX treatment cheaper than dual-arch Flex treatment?
Yes. Because you only need half as many appliances, single-arch aligners and retainers cost about half as much as dual-arch sets.

FAQ about UNLIMITED
- What are the differences between UNLIMITED (Legacy) and UNLIMITED treatment?
- How should I decide whether to treat a case with UNLIMITED or the other treatment options?
What are the differences between UNLIMITED (Legacy) and UNLIMITED treatment?
Both the old and new options cover aligners, revisions, and replacements. However, Unlimited (Legacy) cases close 90 days after the last expected wear date, unless you order a revision to keep the case open longer. Unlimited (Legacy) cases include one free set of retainers, but only if you order it before the case closes.
The new Unlimited option does not close due to inactivity. You have five full years from the day you approve the setup to order any new aligners, revisions, or replacements you might need, at no additional cost. Instead of one free set of retainers, the new Unlimited lets you order up to two sets of retainers every six months, for the full five years. (That's two retainers every six months for single-arch treatment, or two pairs of retainers every six months for dual-arch treatment.)
How should I decide whether to treat a case with UNLIMITED or the other treatment options?
If you want predictability and peace of mind, you can't go wrong with Unlimited. One upfront fee will cover anything you need for five years. Unlimited is a particularly good value for dual-arch treatment, and any case that is likely to need revisions, refinement, or long-term retention with clear aligners. The other treatment options of MINI, ONE, TWO, and THREE have recommendations for case types and the FLEX option is well suited for cases where limiting the upfront cost is the primary concern. You can choose any pricing option available in your region that allows you to meet yours and the patient's treatment goals.
